Much more than a Sports Club
The Quinta de Monserrate was established in 2015, within an ancient property that is over 300 years old.
The slogan "The Estate in the City" was adopted and embraced by everyone.
Maintaining all the features of the past and with plenty of green space, conditions were created for the practice of sports combined with leisure.
With 8 padel courts, 1 gym, and the Quinta’s Bar/Restaurant, visits to "Quinta" have become almost a weekly ritual for hundreds of people. The exponential growth of padel as a sport in Portugal and the outstanding hospitality of the entire QM staff have been the main drivers of this phenomenon.
During the first year of operation, there were two major developments in the project: the Estate expanded to Braga with 3 covered padel courts, introducing the sport to the city, and created an indoor padel space with 6 courts near the main site in Matosinhos.
On the 1st of September 2016, Quinta de Monserrate celebrated a commercial and strategic partnership with Sport Club do Porto, a century-old entity with great prestige in national sports, which allowed it to create another space dedicated to various sports.
In the City Park, a green and privileged area of Porto, foundations were laid for an authentic sports city, focused on the development of high-performance players. The results have been significant, with several national champions and many players representing various national teams.
In 2018, another opportunity arose to expand the Quinta de Monserrate project to the city of Vila Nova de Gaia. Once again centred around padel, a new project was built from scratch, featuring 6 indoor courts, 2 outdoor courts, and a unique setting for practice and development. With a highly skilled local team that quickly demonstrated its talent, the club became a national benchmark for its management.
Finally, in 2020, a new commercial partnership was developed with Sonae, in a pilot project unique in Portugal, using padel as a means to promote well-being among the Institution's employees.
The projects certainly won’t stop here because we firmly believe that sport at the Quinta is good for everyone!
We believe in the values of sport and are very proud of the community we have built and the sporting results achieved.

Testimonials
We visited the restaurant for a birthday party where the space was reserved for our group. The atmosphere was welcoming, and they allowed us to decorate with some extra items from the party theme. The starters and drinks were initially very good, with the ribs being a particular highlight. For the main course, we opted for the codfish with cream, which was also tasty.
An excellent club where I have the pleasure of playing weekly and having incredible lessons with Pedro Martins! The best! Attentive staff. I highly recommend it to everyone.
An excellent place for playing padel. It features great facilities and several courts. It’s indoors. If needed, they rent out rackets and balls. For frequent users, they offer a card that provides a free game after a certain number of visits. The location is excellent, and although there is no dedicated parking, it is easy to find parking nearby. They also offer lessons and allow online bookings.
Great conditions for playing padel. Friendly staff. Competent coaches. Changing rooms with excellent facilities. A spacious and pleasant venue with parking.
Excellent quality of the courts and surface. The arrangement of the courts in a straight line is interesting.
Good facilities, easy parking, a great atmosphere, and excellent professionals.
